LET'S SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT

On September 17 the Jewish News ran an ad purchased by Congressman Bill
Brodhead's Republican opponent. The ad attempted to show that Brodhead is not
concerned with the problems of Soviet Jews.

We protest this shabby use of the plight of Soviet Jews in an attempt to defeat
a hard-working and effective Congressman.

The following letter shows that Bill Brodhead is a strong friend of Soviet Jews.
The letter sets the record straight and expresses our views.

GERALD ROGERS

Sharfman is Vice-Chairman of the Detroit Committee
