He is a member of the Speakers Bureau of State of Israel Bonds and the board of the Hebrew Benevolent Society. He is active in Bnai Brith and the Jewish War Veterans. He serves on the boards of the Opera Organization, Brighton Hospital and the Liberty State Bank and Trust. Lieberson is a graduate of Wayne State University and the Detroit College of Law.
