BUDAPEST (JTA) — The
inhabitants of a small
Hungarian village have
voluntarily restored an old
Jewish cemetery, rebuilding
the walls, erecting a gate
and replacing the old
tombstones.
The inhabitants of Sasd,
in southern Hungary, where
no Jews now live, apparent-
ly took the decision to
restore the Cemetery last
winter. School students did
most of the work but prac-
tically all local craftsmen
also joined in.

Dr. Benno Milnitzky of
Sao Paulo, was re-elected
president of the Jewish
Confederation of Brazil at
the tenth convention of
Brazilian Jewish
Federations held last week
in Sao Pa lo. But for the
first time i the history of
the represent tive body of
the Brazilian ewish com-
munity, its pr sident was
not elected by unanimous
vote.
The representatives of the
Jewish Federation \in Rio de
Janeiro voted .gainst
Milnitzky. They demanded a
stronger leadership to deal
with the communities'
problems in the present
situation.
He who insults his fellow-
man in public, sheds, as it
were, his blood.
