OP Students
at Science Event

Oak Park High School
students Stephanie
Krasnow and Dana
Zakalik were among 37
high school juniors who
participated in the 1976
High School Honors Sci-
ence Prograin at Michi-
gan State University.
Stephanie, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Krasnow of Cloverlawn
Ave., Oak . Park, re-
searched ways to find
microorganisms in dog's
blood that cause
heartworms. She plans to
be a veterinarian.
Dana, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. David Zakalik of
Geoffrey Ct., Oak Park,
measured the response of
trout eyes to sudden,
bright flashes of light.
This helps determine the
effects of a high level of
'oxygen present in fish
eyes.

Receive all men with a
cheerful countenance.
