telephones and record
pledges during the 1976
Jerry Lewis Labor Day
Telethon for Muscular
Dystrophy. The telethon,
telecast for the second
straight year by WJBK-TV,
will run 211/2 hours, starting
at 9 p.m. Sept. 5 and ending
at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 6.
Volunteers who are age 18
and over will be asked to
report to the Jerry Lewis
Telephone Center nearest
their homes, for a five-hour
shift of their choice.,
Those wishing to help at
any area telephone center,
as either a phone answerer
or as a clerical helper, may
register by calling Telethon
headquarters, 399-8805.

"The Prime Rib, - a new
improVisational comedy
group performing under
the auspices of the Jewish
Community Center, will
hold auditions 8 p.m.
Thursday in the Aaron
DeRov Studio Theatre of
the Center.
Persons who sing,
dance or play a musical
instrument are invited.
No prepared material is
necessary. Anyone age 18
or over is invited to audi-
