Teaching Award

Dr. Alan J. Goldman,
son of Mr. and Mrs. David
A. Goldman of Far-
mington Hills, was re-
cently awarded the Au-
gustus Rose Award "for
excellence in teaching" at
the University of Califor
nia at Los Angeles. Dr.
Goldman, a neurologist,
has just completed his re-
sidency at the university.

Singles Unit Sets
First Israel Tour

PHILADELPHIA —
Shalom Ve'Ahava (Peace
and Love) . Singles, a
newly organized singles
group in conjunction with
a singles counterpart in
Israel, will sponsor a
singles tour to Israel Dec.
23 to Jan. 2, inaugurat-
ing the first in a series of
singles tours throughout
1977.
According to the lead-
ers of the group, Morris

the tour will feature
single get-togethers and
social events every night
