Bnai Brith Starts Aliya Campaign

Abraham Feinberg, who
donated 100,000 Pounds
($12,500) towards the for-
mation of a scholarship
foundation for orphans of
the Israeli commandos who
had fallen in battles against
Arab aggression, announced
that the fund will be named
after Lieutenant Colonel
Jonathan Netanyahu who
was killed in action while
leading the commando raid
for the release of the airline
hostages in Uganda.

NEW YORK — An all-out
campaign in order to en-
courage and stimulate aliya
interest has recently been
embarked upon by Bnai
Brith, according to the Is-
rael Aliya Center.
Carl Bromberg, the na-
tional aliya chairman of
Bnai Brith proposed that
this year's theme for his
organization be dedicated to
aliya.
He outlined a program
suggesting that members
provide a platform for aliya

experts to visit with lodges
in order to enlighten its
members about the aliya
movement, speak about op-
portunities in Israel, proce-
dures for settlement there
and ways and means to lend
support for aliya in the
United States.
