To be visibly reminded within the framework of a permanent institution of
what happened to our people when we were helpless will enhance our understand-
ing and reinforce our commitment to our Jewish home in Israel and will give us the
determinatiori to preserve and promote the vitality and strength of organized Jewish
life everywhere.

We appeal to each and everyone in the Jewish Community to give us a helping
hand in order to speedily facilitate this historic
