TEL AVIV — Decorative
wall tiles in a wide range of
designs will be manufac-
tured in 1976 by Israel Ce-
ramic Works "Harsa" Ltd.,
a member of the Koor Ce-
ramics Division.
The plant expects to pro-
duce sonic two million tiles
this year to meet the great
demand for this product.
Carsa is. at present, ex-
perimenting with produc-
tion of glazing materials,
which could result in sav-
ings of up to IL250.000 a
year ($40,000).
JNF Will Develop
New Settlements
JERUSALEM — Ground
will be broken for 15 new
settlements all over the
country by the Jewish Na-
tional Fund this year, the
director of the Land Devel-
opment Authority, Meir
Shamir, disclosed.
The infrastructure for
housing and agriculture as
well as drainage operations
will be the most important
tasks in the Galilee, in the
Jordan Valley, in the Arava
and in the Eshkol Develop-
ment region.
