Sauces which tenderize the meat also enhance the fla- vor. Try this week's steak recipe with baked potato (added to the oven during the last hour the meat is cooking) for a hearty meal. one 3-lb. chuck, cut about 1-inch thick 1 stalk celery, thinly sliced 1 small green pepper, cut in rings 1 bottle chili sauce 1 /4 cup flour Use a 9x13-inch Teflon baking pan or spray with Pam or similar product. Place chuck steak in an oven baking bag. Slice vegeta- bles and put on top of the meat in the bag. Mix chili sauce and flour. Put on top of the vegeta- bles. Close bag but remember to punch holes in the top of the bag to let steam escape. Place in pan and bake in oven for 31/2 hours or until tender. Take out of bag and pour sauce over meat and veget- ables. Serves 4-5.
