Fram to Lead Israel Tour Rabbi Leon Fram of Tem- ple Israel will lead a group of Reform Jews on a pilgri- mage to Israel next Novem- ber. The occasion is the Golden Jubilee Conference of the World Union for Progressive Judaism in Je- rusalem. A feature of the conference will be the dedi- cation of the first reform ki- hutz in Israel. The conference in Jerusa- lem will be addressed by the leading personalities of Is- rael, including the president and the prime minister, and by eminent Jews from all over the world. Yeshiva University Ups Student Aid NEW YORK — Yeshiva University has announced the establishment of an un- dergraduate scholar pro- gram to provide financial assistance to students based on academic merit. The tui- tion assistance is in addition to those financial aid pr(' grams already available at- the university. According to Dean David Mirsky, acting vice presi- dent for academic affairs, students who demonstrate high achievement based or.--\, past academic performany will be selected as partici'L -- pants in the new program. Those selected, in addi- tion to academic recognition and benefit, will receive a $1,000 award for a four-year period, applicable to the annual tuition charge.
