"Irving Nusbaum is a
special aspect in our work,"
Stollman said. He pointed
out that this year marks the
25th anniversary of the for-
mation of the Detroit
Friends of Bar-Ilan Univer-
sity and that Irving Nus-
baurn's father, Abraham
Nusbaum, was the first
chairman of the Detroit
committee.
"Besides," Stollman said,
"the Nusbaums were instru-
mental in establishing the
first buildings on the Bar-
Ilan campus."
Stollman asserted that
the continuity marked by
Irving Nusbaum's assump-
tion of leadership adds en-
couragement to the tasks of
aiding one of Israel's most
successful educational insti-
tutions.
An added source of pride
in the Nusbaum family con-
tinuity was cited by Stoll-
rhan in his announcement
that a grandson of Abraham
Nusbaum, Gary Feder, son
of,. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Feder, will receive a mas-
ter's degree in the special
sciences at the Bar-Ilan
graduation exercieses on
June 30. His grandmother,
Laura (Mrs. Abraham) Nus-
baum is planning to go to Is-
rael to attend his gradua-
tion services.
