Soviet Jew Still Seeking Relative
The Jewish Community
Council is seeking informa-
tion about the Victor Paint
Co. in the hope of finding
Annette Victorchik, whose
Soviet Jewish relative is
seeking her whereabouts.
As a result of a prior item
in The Jewish News, the
Jewish Community Council
received a phone call from a
man who believes he came
to the U.S. from Bobruisk
on the same boat as Annette
Victorchik. According to
Beverly Yost of the Council,
he said the family changed
its name to Victor and was
connected with the Victor
Paint Co.
Attempts to contact the
company have been unsuc-
cessful since the telephone
has been disconnected. Per-
