berry Theatre. The presen-
tation is part of Detroit's Bi-
centennial celebration.
"The Body Parts of Mar-
garet Fuller" is based on a
historical subject, but its
style and content are of our
own times. A group of
women, international in
character, learn a great deal
about themselves as they
react to aspects of the life
and career of Margaret
Fuller, a 19th-Century
American writer and editor,
and a friend of Thoreau and
Emerson.
Mrs. Broner is writer-in
residence and associate
professor of English at
Wayne State University and
author of the recent novel
"Her Mother." Her previous
books include "Summer is a
Foreign Land" and "Jour-
nal/Nocturnal."
At the opening night

The Oak Park School Dis-
trict's non-commercial edu-
cational radio station,
WOPR-FM, will broadcast
for 200 continuous hours in
an effort to gain publicity
and to raise money to be
shared equally with the
Muscular Dystrophy Asso-
ciation.
Located in Oak Park High
School, the station broad-
casts from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Monday through Friday at
90.3 on the FM dial.

Comedy Movie
at OP Library

"Curtain Up," a 1953 film
starring Margaret Ruther-
ford and Robert Morley, will
be presented 8 p.m. today at
the Oak Park Library.
The film is based on
Philip King's play, "On
Monday Next," which sati-
rizes community theater.
The program is sponsored
by the Friends of the Oak
Park Library. The public is
invited, and admission is
free.

Transgressions
