College to Cite Judge Kaufman
Wayne County Probate
Judge Ira G. Kaufman will
receive an honorary Doctor
of Science in Business Ad-
ministration degree at the
commencement exercises of
Cleary College in Ypsilanti
June 12.
Cleary College, a special-
ized business college, will
cite Judge Kaufman "as a
scholar, a man of action and
deed, and a dedicated judge,
he is an example for all who
labor for the cause of hu-
manity."
The citation lists Judge
Kaufman's affiliations as a
founder of Adat Shalom
Synagogue, and past chair-
man of United Hebrew
Schools, Midrasha College
of Jewish Studies, the Zion-
ist Organization of Detroit,
