Gudema were married in a
recent ceremony at Frank-
lin Hills Country Club.
Rabbi Dannel I. Schwartz of
Temple Beth El officiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. Harold Davidson of
Birmingham and Mr. Rob-
ert Kasle of Farmington
Hills. Parents of the bride-
groom are Mrs. Martha
Gudema of Rockford, Ill.,
and tEe late Mr. Herman
Gudema.
The bride was attended
by Mrs. Harvey Daniels of
Evanston, Ill. Louis Gu-
dema was his brother's best
man.
The new Mrs. Gudema
was graduated from North-
western University and
earned an MA degree in
early childhood education at
the University of Michigan.
Her husband attended U-M
where he earned a Master of
Business Administration
degree.
The couple is living in
Ann Arbor.

Looking for a dish to
please •the "meat 'n' potato"
gang in your house? This is
a basic recipe that should go
over well.
11/4 lbs. shoulder steak
cut into serving pieces
1 /3 cup flour
4 tbsps. oil
6-8 small whole
red potatoes, peeled
1/2 lb. mushrooms (fresh)
1 medium onion, cut in rings
2 tbsps. parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. salt
vs tsp. pepper
2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce
Dredge meat in flour. Brown
on both sides in hot oil. Place
meat in 1'/ -quart casserole dish.
Brown onions and mushrooms.
Put potatoes around meat. Place
mushrooms and onions on top of
meat. Mix parsley, pepper and
salt with tomato sauce. Pour over
meat and vegetables. Cover and
bake in 350-degree oven for 1 1/2
hours or until meat is tender.
Serves 5.
U.S. Soldiers
to Tour Israel
TEL AVIV (ZINS) —
Some 25,000 American sol-
diers based in Europe will
be spending their leaves in
Israel this year, according
to Colonial Arthur Hoff-
man, a former officer in the
U.S. Air Force who is now
resident in Israel.
The G.I.s will be flown to
Israel on Army transports
based in London, Rome,
Frankfort, and Istanbul.
