The rabbi received both
his ordination and doctorate
in Germany where, as a
young man, he had already
achieved a reputation as a
scholar.
Rabbi Kapustin's retire-
ment marks the passing of

serve as professor in the De-

A luncheon honoring
Rabbi Kapustin will be held
at noon June 13 at the
Young Israel of Oak-Woods.
