nary in Budapest as a candi-
date for the post of rabbi in
Czechosloviakia which has
been vacant since the death
of Dr. Richard Feder in

Honors Rossen -

The Hebrew Benevolent
Society will hold a reception
at its offices 8 p.m. Thurs-
day, in honor of the 80th
birthday of Nathan P. Ros-
sen.
Rossen is a long-time
board member of the He-
brew Benevolent Society
(Chesed Shel Emes), was
vice president in 1957 and
1958, and president from
1959 to 1961.
For the past eight years,
Rossen has served as record-
ing secretary: Under Ros-
sen's administration, the
land for the present build-
ing on Greenfield Road was
purchased and the plans
inaugurated for the present
chapel.
