Bond investments will go to-
ward developing Israel's en-
ergy resources in what Is-
rael has designated as the
"Year of Energy."
Guest speaker Frank Ger-
vasi, author and politiCal
expert on the Middle East,
said Israel needs more than
$350 million this year to
purchase, from other
sources, the oil normally
' supplied by the Abu Rodeis
oil fields in the Sinai. The oil
fields were recently re-
turned to Egypt.
ORT's "woman of the
year," Mrs. Daniel C. Siegel
was presented with the
State of Israel Bonds'
Shalom Award "in recogni-
tion of her services to her
community and to Israel."
