for Asthma Center

A door-to-door "March for
Breath" campaign, spon-
sored by the Metropolitan
Detroit Chapters for the Na-
tional Asthma Center, Chil-
dren's Asthma Research
Institute and Hospital,
(CARIH) will take place
during May.
Proceeds will go to the
Center in Denver, Colo. for
the treatment and care of
children suffering from
crippling intractable
asthma and to support re-
search into the causes and
possible cure for asthma.,
and related allergic
, di-
seases.
Among the leaders of the
March for Breath campaign

Annual Meeting

The 56th annual meeting
)f United Hebrew Schools
will be held 8 p.m. Wednes-
day in the UHS Louis and
Esther LaMed Auditorium.
The annual election of of-

port on the state of the He-
brew schools, to be delivered
by Milton Lucow, president
and Dr. Jay Stern, superin-
tendent.

taken of the retirement of
Mrs. Rae Goodman, who
