No Pension?

Here's how to lower
your taxes until you retire...
and how to have the money
to"Live in Style"when you do.

If you work
foram employer

If you are
self-employed

but are not a participant in a
pension plan, we can show you
how to open an IRA (individual
Retirement Account) through
American Federal Savings.
Under this plan, you can
save up to $1,500 a year or 15%
of your wages, (whichever is
less), in an IRA and deduct the
amount from your Federal in-
come tax return. In addition,
interest earned on your account
is tax-sheltered to make your
money grow /faster than you
ever thought possible.

or own a business that is not
incorporated, we have a tax-
sheltered plan for you under
the Keogh Act. With the Keogh
Plan through American Federal
Savings, you can deduct up to
$7,500 on your Federal income
tax return and put that money
in one of our high-interest in-
sured savings accounts. Interest
earned on your account is tax-
sheltered until you- retire and
begin withdrawing funds.

At American Federal Savings, your tax-sheltered dollars will be
earning the highest interest paid on savings in Michigan. And we
have a variety of accounts to choose from. Come to any office of
American Federal Savings for complete details. We can show you
how your savings will grow faster in an 'IRA or Keogh Plan com-
pared to a personal savings program. Our retirement plans can
make a nice difference in your retirement plans.
