fornia has received a $1 mil-
lion grant from Saudi Ara-
bia to establish the King
Faisal Chair of Islamic and
Arab Studies.
Presentation of the grant
was made to USC President
John R. Hubbard by Ghazi
al-Gosaibi, Saudi minister
of industry and electricity,
who earned a master's de-
gree in international rela-
tions at USC in 1965.

The young Israeli won
two gold medals and was

will begin a year-long sab-
batical in May. Menuhin
promised his wife that on
his 60th birthday he would
take a year off from his con-
cert schedule.
The sabbatical won't be
completely restful, since
Menuhin has accepted invi-
tations in Europe and in the
U.S.

Israel Air Crash
TEL AVIV (JTA) —
Seven persons were injured,
one seriously, when a small
passenger plane crash
landed on a road north of Ti-
berias.
There were eight persons
aboard the aircraft, oper-
ated by Arkia, Israel's
domestic airline. One appar-
ently was unhurt, four sus-
tained moderate injuries
and two were discharged
from the hospital after
treatment for minor
bruises. The plane, an exec-
utive-type aircraft, was on a
flight from Rosh Pina in
Galilee to Tel Aviv when it
developed engine trouble.

The world premiere pro-
duction of the Wayne State
University Bicentennial
Award-winning play, "The
Body Parts of Margaret
Fuller" by Esther Broner,
has been scheduled for 8:30
p.m. June 10, 11 at the Hil-
berry Theatre.
The production is part of
the dual prize for the win-
ning playwright in the com-
petition, sponsored by the
WSU Bicentennial Commis-
sion and Theatre as part of
Detroit's Bicentennial ob-
servances. The other part of
the prize is a cash award.
Mrs. Broner is writer-in-
residence and associate
professor of English at
Wayne State University.
Tickets are available at
the WSU Theatre box office
in the Hilberry lobby.
