Florence Kreger Will Receive
National NCJW Solomon Prize

Detroit 41, United Order
True Sisters, Inc., will hold
its annual donor luncheon
May 11 at the Hyatt Re-
gency Hotel, Dearborn.

Florence S. Kreger, past
president of the Greater
Detroit Section of the Na-
tional Council of Jewish
Women, will receive the
Hannah G. Solomon Award
at the section's installation
luncheon noon Monday at
the new Jewish Community
Center.
Helen Thomas, United
Press International Wash-
ington bureau chief, will be
the guest speaker.
Mrs. Kreger was the ad-
viser to the Huntington
Woods and Northwest
branches, president of the
mid-east U.S. region,
member of the national
board, chairman of the na-
tional field service commit-
tee, national representative
to the White House Confer-
ence on the Aging and alter-
nate delegate to the Interna-
tional Council of Jewish
Women convention in To-
ronto. She is co-editor of the
section bulletin.
She also earned the
NCJW volunteer of the
year award in 1966, was
vice president of the
founding board of the
Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion, a board member of
Temple Beth El Sisterhood
and first chairwoman of

Plans to Marry
