"in recognition of their con-
tributions to the state of Is-
rael," 6 p.m. May 2 at the
Labor Zionist Institute.
Dinner will be served.
Miller was instrumental
in helping to establish and
maintain the Kadima Nur-
sery in Israel. He is a past
president of the Hebrew
Benevolent Society and is
active in the Jericho Lodge.
Fishman also is active in
efforts for the Kadima Nur-
sery and the Spiritual Adop-
tion Fund. He is a member
of the retired men's club
and recreational club at the
Jewish Community Center.
Mrs. Fishman has been
a member of Pioneer
Women for 27 years and
has been chapter president
twice, recording secre-
tary, vice president of the
Pioneer Women Council of
Greater Detroit and is vice
president of funds for her
chapter.
There is a charge for the
dinner. Entertainment will
be provided by Oscar Rappa-
port, humorist, and Estelle
