The Jewish Community
Center will sponsor riku-
diya and zimriya, song and
dance festivals, 8:30 p.m.
May 8 in the new Center, in
observance of the 28th anni-
versary of the state of Is-
rael.
Teens and young adults
are invited. There will be
refreshments. Admission is
nominal.
The Center will have a
workshop in paper airplane-
building 2 p.m. Sunday at
the Center. Preliminary
qualifications in the flight
contest for the airplanes
will take place 4 p.m. May 2
at the Center with the finals
2 p.m. May 9.
There will be four age
categories in which mem-
bers will be judged and the
judge's decisions will be
based on accuracy, origi-
nality, distance and loop-

Bnai Brith Women's Council
Installation Set For Thursday

Mrs. Harold Rowe will be
installed as the 31st Presi-
dent of the Bnai Brith
Women's Council of Metro-
politan Detroit at a lunch-
eon noon on Thursday at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
A life member of Bnai
Brith Women, Mrs. Rowe is
a past president of Maurice
C. Zeiger Chapter and was
Women's Council vice presi-
dent and chairman of many
committees. She is a mem-
ber of the board of directors
of the Michigan Region:,
Bnai Brith Youth Organiza-
tion, and was a consultant
to several Bnai Brith Worn-
en's chapters in Detroit.

nual family camping week-
end May 28-30 at Camp Ta-
marack.
Activities will include
swimming, hiking, boating,
fishing, nature walks,
sports, arts and crafts,
campfires and a Shabat ce-

Meanwhile, both Center
members and non-members
may register for the Cen-
ter's 1976 summer pro-
