The late Dean Grueber was an honorary president of the association and - the initiator of the forest itself which was to commemorate the "Grueber Office", the group of Dr. Grueber's col- leagues and friends who paid with their lives to save those "persecuted because of their race" under the Nazi regime. Dr. Grueber was one of the central witnesses of the prosecution in the Eich- mann trial. m Ay 9 WITH A SYMBOL OF LIFE Kissinger's . Role in October War Hit NEW YORK (ZINS) — In a book to be published in May, Adm. Elmo FL Zum- walt, Jr., chief of U.S. naval operations, accused Secre- tary of State Henry Kissin- ger of delaying supplies to Israel during the 1973 war and of blaming James Schlesinger, then secretary of defense, for the delay. "I do not mean to imply that he (Kissinger) wanted Israel to lose the war. He simply did not want Israel to win decisively. He wanted Israel to bleed just enough to soften it up for the pDst- war diplomacy he was plan- ning.''
