Bookstein, a graduate of Wayne State University in engineering, and his wife now handle approximately 90 percent of the computer- ized accounting work in Stamford. Their Bookstein Accounting Service (BASIC) has grown to 450 customers, with between $60,000 to $100,000 in billings this year. Bookstein is a former aerospace 'engineer in Cali- fornia, and his wife was an accountant. * * * Financial Analysts Seminar May 2-8 at U. of Windsor The 10th annual Study Seminar for Financial Ana- lysts will be held May 2-8 at the University of Windsor. The four-day refresher pro- gram and the seven-day full study program are designed as study seminars for the chartered financial analysts examination and as a re- fresher for those not sitting for the examination. Under the direction of Dr. Edward Rosenbaum, the 10 faculty members of the program include leading fi- nancial specialists from the U.S. and Canada.
