The local Weight Watch-
ers office has released Pas-
sover recipes developed by
Weight Watchers Interna-
tional, Inc., for persons who
wish to watch their weight
while observing the holiday.
Among the special recipes
are: matza balls in soup,
matza cheese kugel, carrot
pancake, fish chowder, red
cabbage salad, chicken salad
blintzes and special blintzes.
Following are selected
recipes:
MATZA BRIE
3 matzot
boiling water
6 eggs, well beaten
3 /4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper -
Artificial sweetener, optional
Cinnamon, optional

2 oz. cooked chicken, diced
1 tsp. dehydrated onion flakes,
reconstituted in 1 tbsp. water
1/4 cup celery, finely diced
1 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 /2 tsp. chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350°F. Corn-
bine all ingredients, except salt
and pepper, mix well. Season to
taste. Divide mixture and spoon
on to blintzes; fold to hold mix-
ture and roll. Place in individual
casserole and bake for about 10
minutes until heated. Makes 1
serving.

CARROT PANCAKE
1 egg, beaten
1/2 matza, made into crumbs
4 oz. carrots, finely grated
Artificial sweetener to equal 1/2
teaspoon sugar
1 tsp. chopped parsley
1 tsp. dehydrated onion flakes
1/3 cup chicken bouillon
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine egg, matzo crumbs
and carrots in mixing bowl. Add
sweetener and parsley. Reconsti-
tute onion flakes in bouillon; add
to egg mixture and combine.
Season to taste. Pour into heated
non-stick skillet. Cook over me-
dium heat until set. Turn with
spatula and cook until brown.
(Mixture can be divided to make
2 pancakes.) Makes 1 serving.
RED CABBAGE SALAD
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Salt to taste
2 cups shredded red cabbage
4 oz. thinly sliced onions
2 tbsp. vegetable oil,
2 tsp. vinegar-
Freshly ground pepper

mond of Philadelphia, Pa.
James M. Frank was his
brother's best man. Ush-

Also participating in the
ceremony were grandpar-
ents of the bride, Mr. and

The couple will reside in
Washington, D. C.
