Bnai Brith Presidents Brunch Goal to Plant Forest in Israel

The 10th annual Metro-
politan Detroit Bnai Brith

Presidents Brunch will be
held April 25 at Cong. Beth
Abraham-Hillel, in-coopera-
tion with the Jewish Na-
tional Fund.
The goal of the Bnai Brith
Council is to complete the
fourth Detroit Bnai Brith
forest of 10,000 trees in Is-
rael. This forest will pay
tribute to the past presi-
dents of the Metropolitan
Detroit Bnai Brith Councils,
who served prior to the in-
auguration of the brunches
in 1966.
The brunch also will
honor the incumbent presi-
dents of the Councils and
each of the presidents of the
24 lodges and 25 women's

chapters, which have a total
membership of 13,000.
