Chicken in Wine
a la Planters

Peanut oil often is- the
"secret ingredient" of gour-
met dishes the world over.
Why? Peanut oil brings out
the natural flavor of foods
cooked in it.
Kosher - for - Passover
Planters Oil is 100 percent
pure peanut oil. It is the
parve oil many Jewish gour-
met cooks prefer.

1 31/2 -lb. chicken (cut in half)
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
5 sprigs fresh parsley
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 /4 tsp. basil
pinch each: rosemary, paprika,
cayenne pepper
V8 tsp. thyme
1/2 cup Planters Oil
3 /4 cup dry white wine
2 cloves garlic
Place chicken in roaster. Blend
all other ingredients together in
blender until liquified. Pour mix-
ture on chicken and marinate
overnight in refrigerator. Preheat
oven to 400°F. Cook chicken, cov-
ered, for about two hours. Re-
move cover. Raise oven tempera-
ture to 500°F. and brown chicken
for 10-15 minutes. Serves 5.

Resolution to Aid
Soviet Prisoner

Congressman James J.
Blanchard (D-Mich) an-
nounced that he will co-
sponsor a resolution which
seeks the release from
prison of Soviet dissident
Valentyn Moroz.
Moroz, a Ukrainian histo-
rian, has been imprisoned
for all but eight months
during the last 11 years for
alleged "anti-Soviet propa-
_ ganda and agitation." In
recent years, he has been
under "treatment" with
drugs and chemicals, Blan-
chard said.
The resolution, authored
by Congressman Edward I.
Koch (D-N.Y.) and Con-
gresswoman Millicent Fen-
wick (R-N.J.), calls upon
President Ford to ask Mo-
roz' release so that he can
accept an invitation from
Harvard University to join
Lie faculty of the Harvard
Ukrainian Research Insti-
tute for the 1976-77 school
year.
