Parlor Event Benefits Bonds

Einstein Lodge and Chapter of Bnai Brith members
saw more than $300,000 invested in Israel Bonds at a
parlor meeting prior to its Israel Bond Dinner to be held
Saturday. Present at the parlor meetings were, from
left: Sam Freedman, president of Einstein Lodge; Henry
Dorfman, dinner chairman; Mrs. Joseph Berman, Ein-
stein Chapter Israel Bond chairman; Yaacov Morris,
minister of information for the Israel Mission to the UN;

Rabbi Milton Rosenbaum of

The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Ro-
han of Jeanette Ave., South-
field. Parents of the bride-
groom are Mr. and Mrs.
Eugene Kraft of Hunter's
Dr., Farmington.

Michigan Artists to Exhibit Works
in Temple Women's Art Show

Lois Singer, standing, over-all chairperson, with
the help of Phyllis Greenberg, center, Alvira Perlman,
right, in charge of the Art Department, and Marilyn
Belin, left, sisterhood president, have lined up more than
100 Michigan artists in all media to exhibit their works
for Temple Is'rael's Art and All '76 show to be held
March 21-23 at the temple. Hours are noon-9 p.m. March
21 and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. March 22 and March 23. In addi-
tion, two local businesspersons and an author will be
featured at the show. At 7 p.m. March 21 a fashion show
for men will be presented. Esther Broner, author of "Her
Mothers," will speak 11 a.m. March 22 and on March 23
a fashion show for ladies will take place. Admission is
nominal. Tickets are available at the temple and at the

it flavor and you'll see.

3 lbs. chuck meat, cut into chunks
2 medium onions, cut in rings
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
2 cups dry red wine
oil
Brown in a dutch oven the
meat, onions ,and mushrooms in
a little oil. Add wine and simmer
covered for 1 'h hours or until
tender. Most of the liquid will
cook out. If necessary, you might
have to add a little more wine to
prevent the meat from drying
out. Serve over rice or noodles.
