ORT Day Marked
Throughout, U. S.

NEW YORK — March 17
has been proclaimed as ORT
Day 1976 by Mayor Abra-
ham Beame of New York
City, as well as by mayors
and governors throughout
the nation. The observance
will stress quality education
in the United States.
Ruth Eisenberg, national
president of Women's
American ORT, said ORT
Day 1976 will be observed
by 125,000 meinbers of
Women's American ORT in
1,000 chapters from coast to
coast. Women's American
ORT is the largest of groups
in 40 nations supporting the
global ORT program of vo-
cational education and
training.

Mrs. Anna Finkel Honored on 80th

Mrs. Anna Finkel will be
honored by her children
Monday on the occasion of
her 80th birthday.
Mrs. Finkel, who assisted
in fund raising for Jewish
causes, was active in the He-
brew Hospital Association
and the Eva Prenzlaur
Group.

She was an organizer of
the Women's Division of the
Jewish National Fund and
remains active in the move-
ment.

In addition to her family's
tribute, Cong. Shaarey Ze-
dek's sisterhood is planning
an event in her honor.
