The Metropolitan Chapter
of Hadassah will pay trib-
ute to Blanche Pollack April
1 at Cong. Shaarey Zedek, it
was announced by Mrs. Pe-
ter A. Martin, Hadassah's
president.
Mrs. Pollack, who is des-
ignated "Women of the
Year," will receive a special
award from the State of Is-
rael Bond Organization "for
service to Israel and her
community."

BLANCHE POLLACK
Mrs. Pollack is a life
member of Hadassah who
has held almost every major
post in the organization.
She is now IMA chairman.
The honoree has been

associated with Israel
Bonds since its inception
25 years ago, was its Wom-
en's Division Sponsor
Chairman and has been
Women's Division chair-
man since August 1971.
She also was chairman of
Service to the Foreign Born
for the National Council of
Jewish Women and is active
with Women's American
ORT and the Women's Aux-
iliary of the Jewish National
Fund. In addition, Mrs. Pol-
lack received the Red
Feather Award from the
United Foundation.
Mr. Pollack is general
chairman of the Greater
Metropolitan Detroit Com-
mittee of State of Israel
Bonds.
