SZ Juniors Will Conduct
Shabat Morning Services

Junior congregation offi-
cers, board and general
members will conduct the
Feb. 28 Shabat services in
the sanctuary at Cong.
Shaarey Zedek.
Ken Levin, president of
junior congregation, will
deliver the sermon and offi-
cers and board members
will take part in the reading
the Torah, Haftara, and
_ ..7sponsive readings.

Family Camping
Weekend Planned

The Fresh Air Society
will host a family camping
weekend March 12-14 at
Camp Tamarack.
The weekend is designed
for parents, and children
that are age 10 or under.
Each family will have its
own, winterized cabin.
There will be supervised ac-
tivities for children, includ-
ing nature studies and
crafts, and evening pro-
grams and discussions for
adults.
Cooking will be done by
the camp staff, and the
theme for the weekend is
Purim. There is a charge.

Will See Drama

Cong. Beth Moses' United

Cong. Bnai Moshe's Kadi-
mah United Synagogue
Youth group will have an
oneg Shabat today in the
home of Hartley Harris,

singing, dancing, games and

Young Israel Teens will

for Essay Contest

"What Would Moses Say
to the U.N. Today?" is the
topic for Barton Candy
Corp.'s essay contest.
Essays of 300 words or
less may be submitted. A
$5,000- cash award will go to
the winning essay, half of
which should go to the au-
thor's sponsoring synagogue
or organization.
Three additional $1,000
consolation prizes will be
awarded to students in the
fourth-12th grades.
An additional essay con-
test on the theme: "What
Would Thomas Jefferson
Say to the U.N. Today?", is
being held simultaneously
for a second $5,000 prize.
The final date for submit-
ting the essays to the local
synagogue or organization
has been changed to April
