Bonds to Honor Investors

The Israel Bond organiza-
tion will honor its major
investors, the National Hon-
orary Societies of Trustees
and the Prime Minister's
Club, at a leadership confer-
ence and award luncheon on
Tuesday at the Standard
Club of Detroit.
Dan Pattir, adviser to Is-
rael Prime Minister Yitzhak
Rabin, will address the
meeting. Pattir has been a
member of the Israeli diplo-
matic corps, and is a past
president or chairman of
the National Federation of
Israel Journalists, the Polit-
ical Writers Association and
the Journalists Association.
Israel Bonds' honorary
societies have been in the
forefront of the Bonds
campaign to increase in-
vestment in Israel and re-
duce the country's balance

Woman to Head
Toronto Bonds

NEW YORK — Mrs. No-
rine Daniels, Canadian Jew-
ish civic and communal
leader, is the first woman to
serve as general chairman of
an Israel Bond campaign in
a major city in North Amer-
ica.
She has been appointed to
head the Toronto drive. Mrs.
Daniels is a member of the
hoard of governors of the
Toronto Bond campaign and
is on the national campaign
cabinet of the Israel Bonds.

Group for Disabled
to Begin Program

The Detroit Chapter of
the Michigan Association
for Children with Learning
Disabilities will begin its
second perceptual develop-
ment program Feb. 21. It
will run for eight weeks.
The child will have a choice
of two classes, either music,
art or gym.
The Saturday morning
program includes a family
swim hour, pool tables,
handball courts and bowl-
ing. There will also be free
babysitting services for
young children not involved
ill the program.
