Thal Heads National JVS Body Bruce E. Thal, president of Detroit's Jewish Voca- tional Service & Community Workshop, has been elected president of the National Association of Jewish Voca- tional Services (formerly Jewish Occupational Coun- cil). Thal's election and the association's name change both took place at the group's annual meeting in New York this month. Thal was treasurer of the Jewish Occupational Coun- cil.
