LISTENING
POST
JOEY BRESSLER,
nine-year-old son of Roz and
Lou Bressler, was given a
form to fill out in his He-
brew school class to plant a
tree in Israel for the holiday
of Tu b'Shevat . . . With
great enthusiasm, Joey
asked if he could honor any-
one he wanted . . . Passing
up his parents and grand-
parents, the youngster eag-
erly selected the TV charac-
ter, "Fonzie" on the "Happy
Days" show . . . "We guar-
antee," says Roz, "that it
will be the only tree -planted
in Israel with so much dedi-
cation. That's what we call a
`devoted fan.' "

hear "the new" Barbara
Paul .. . Ralph had a bottle
of champagne at the table
for Jim Herrington of
WXYZ-TV to open with the

Line" to call anytime for
coming activities . . . kind
of clever . . . (Number is
851-3113).

super markets get smart
and have some kind of an in-
centive program to have peo-

front of the market rather
than leaving them to block
traffic and mark up cars in
the parking lot . . .
THAT Joey Nederlander
and the Fisher Theater start
getting shows like they used
to, just a short skip away
from Broadway . . .
