Non-Jewish -Gift

A 1975 year-end contribu-
tion to the Allied Jewish
Campaign-Israel El:Tier-.
gency Fund was made by

the employees at Ace Wip
ing Cloth Company in hon
of their bosses Harry, Irv-
ing, and Marty Laker, an.
Lou and Jack Parr.
The gift is a tradition
way of honoring their em-
ployers at the year-end hol
day season, according to the,.,
staff at Ace Wiping, whicu,
is predominantly non-Jew-
ish. .
But, said Ace president
Harry Laker, "This year'
gift, which was more an
four times their 197
paign contribution, rei
their generosity and their
awareness of a worthy.
cause with which they have
only second-hand contact."
The Lakers themselves
are long-time supporters o
Detroit's AJGIEF.
