Study Tour of the Middle
East, it was announced by
the American Jewish Com-
mittee. They will visit
Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Is-
rael.
Plans have been made for
the group to meet with
women on all levels of so-
ciety in each country, in an
effort to secure new insights
into the Middle East conflict
by reaching sources of opin-
ion previouSly unknown in
the West.
They also hope to learn
more about the life-styles of
Arab and Israeli women,
and to stimulate an inquiry
into how women can work
together toward peace in the
Middle East.
The tour group, whose
members come from eight

Sisterhood Adult Institute Day
to Be Staged at Beth Achim

adult education committee
will present "Sisterhood
Adult Institute Day" begin-
ning 10 a.m. Jan. 27 at the

"What Is Happening To
The Jewish Home?" will be
the topic of the panel discus-
sion to be moderated by
Rabbi Milton Arm, spiritual
leader of Cong. Beth Achim.
Speakers on the panel will
include Rabbi Robert
Abramson, headmaster of
Hillel -Day School; Dr. Sid-
ney Grosberg, marriage
counselor; and Dr. Harold
Mathis, behavioral psychol-
ogist. A question and an-

Rabin to Visit U.S.

WASHINGTON (JTA) —
The White House an-
nounced that Israeli Pre-
mier Yitzhak Rabin will
visit the United States Jam
27 to Feb. 4 for in-depth diS-
cussions with President
Ford on the Middle East.
While in the country Ra-
bin will also hold talks with
Secretary of State Henry A.
Kissinger and other Ameri-
can officials and will visit
several other cities. This
will be the third visit by ra-
bin to the U.S. since becom-
ing premier.
