NEW YORK (JTA) —
Lately the Holy Land has
been exporting to New York
a very unholy item: Israeli
prostitutes.

No one knows for sure
how many of them are pres-
ently working in New York,
but it is estimated that
there are "more than a few"
Israeli women here who
make their living from the
"oldest profession in the
world."

An American Jewish
businessman said that Is-
raeli call girls can be
found in the bars of the big
hotels in midtown Man-
hattan.

Hilberry, Bonstelle Set Play Schedule

NEWYORK — The five
centers of the Arab Infor-
mation Center in the United
States operate on a total
budget of $500,000, it was
revealed by Dr. Haten Hus-
seini of the center's Wash-
ington office.

According to the Ameri-
can Jewish Committee, Dr.,
Husseini asked Arab-Amer-
ican organizations to aug-
ment this low budget by vol-
unteer work with schools,
churches and civic clubs.

The centers also exist in
San Francisco, New York
City, Chicago and Dallas.
They make AIC publica-
tions, "Arab Report" and
"Palestine Digest", available
without charge to anyone
who calls, but sells subscrip-
tions to public and school
libraries and to social-stud-
ies teachers. The centers
also provide speakers, films
and materials.
