Judaism Institute Plans Term

The spring semester of
the Institute for Judaism,
under the sponsorship of the
Conservative rabbis of met-
ropolitan,Detroit, will begin
7:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at Cong.
Beth - Shalom.
The Institute for Judaism
conducts a class for candi-
dates for conversion to Ju-
daism. Each student is ex-.
pected to have a sponsoring
rabbi who will meet with
the candidate from time to
time and supervise the ac-
tual conversion. If the stu-
dent is engaged or married,
both parties are expected to
attend the class.
An enrollment fee is pay-
able at the beginning of the
semester.
