Israeli's View

Editor, The Jewish News:
The 25th anniversary ce-
lebration of the Israel Bond
Organization held Nov. 25 in
our community was a truly
worthwhile event.

tive at this function. The
two non-Jews saw Zion for
what it is - the homeland of
the Jew of all time.

ferred to Zionism as a ful-
fillment of a covenant made
with Abraham and his seed,
Isaac and Jacob. Governor
Milliken spoke of the 4,000

Minister Moshe Kol,
however, saw Zionism "as
a movement founded in the
1880's".
While the formation of
the peoplehood of Israel be-
gins in the book of Exodus,
the two non-Jews recog-
nized that the entire book of
Genesis is intended to vindi-
