More than 300 persons attended the dinner, at which friends "roasted" him, and hili two daughters presented an audiovisual program on his life. Sorscher is a former pres- ident of Cong. Beth Israel and was chairman of its re- ligious school from 1957 to 1960. Hospitality Party Slated by FJCC The Flint Jewish Commu- nity Council will host a hos- pitality party Dec. 14 in the home of the Bob Silvermans for Jewish people who have recently moved to the area. Emily Bank is chairman of the hospitality committee. Assisting her are Judy Ka- sle and Jennifer Walters. The Hospitality Commit- tee visits all newcomers to the Flint area, and informs them of the services of the FJCC, its committees and constituent organizations.
