Speaking to' more than 1,200 persons at the dinner, at which communal leader Nathan• P. Rossen was pre- sented with the schools' Golden Torah Award, An- derson said, "There is a rea- son for the First Amend- ment — freedom of the press. All other freedoms are expressed and defended through it. "If you lose the freedom of the press, they you have lost your freedom. Anderson said he tries to get "the facts as they are. I can't always get the facts as they are because the government's ability to cover up is greater than my ability to uncover them."
