BB Lists-Projects for Bicentennial WASHINGTON .- Thou- sands of Jewish historical sites are waiting to be "discovered" in cities and towns across the country. To encourage volunteer searches for neglected land- marks — a project of the bi- centennial year — Bnai Brith's community and vol- unteer services has pub- lished "Guidelines for Rec- ognition of American Jewish Historical Sites," a booklet of resource sugges- tions and ideas, including whom to contact for record- ing and evaluating a discov- ery. Another new CVS booklet for bicentennial use is "The Flag Code of the Un:ted States." It relates the his- tory of the flag, gives details of the code and includes all the stanzas of the National Anthem. Both publications are part of a special, 65-cent bi- centennial package that in- cludes a calendar/appoint- ment book and The Memory Bank Treasury Program, a how-to historical project of tape-recording the recollec- tions of elderly Jews. Copies and information on bulk prices are available from Bnai Brith Commu- nity and Volunteer Services, 1640 Rhode Island Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036. BB Leader Cited for Inter-Faith Role BASEL, Switzerland — Dr. Ernst L. Ehrlich, direc- tor of Bnai Brith's continen- tal European district, has been cited by a council of West German organizations "for his central role in fos7 tering a growing dialogue between Europe's Chris- tians and Jews. The German Coordina- tion Council of Associations for Christian-Jewish Coop- eration, representing 50 or- ganizations, voted its 1976 Buber-Rosenzweig Medal to Dr. Ehrlich for his lectures, writing and broadcasts ad- vancing interfaith under- standing.
