for Thanksgiving
An inter-faith Thanksgiv-
ing service will be held 4
p.m. Sunday at Metropoli-
tan Methodist Church, 8000
Woodward.
Rabbi Moses Lehrman of
Cong. Bnai Moshe, chair-
man of the planning com-
mittee, announced that rep-
resentatives of the Islamic,
Jewish, Eastern Orthodox,
Roman Catholic and Protes-
tant faiths will participate.
Sfleaker will be John Car-
dinal Dearden of the Arch-
diocese of Detroit. Super-
vised parking will be
available next to the church
and the public is invited to
the event sponsored by the
religious task force of the
Detroit Bicentennial Corn-
mission.

Advisers to Meet
The next meeting of syn-
agogue youth advisers to
launch the new inter-syn-
agogue basketball league
will be held at 7:30 p.m.
