launched in the metropoli-

Israel relating to care and
education of women and
children.

treat like this.

1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3 tbs. sugar

3 tbs. Margarine, melted
3 8-oz, pkgs. Philadelphia

11/4 cups packed
dark brown sugar
2 tbs. flour
3 eggs
11/2 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Combine crumbs, sugar and mar-
garine; press onto bottom of 9-inch

springform pan. Bake at 350° for 10_
minutes. Increase oven temperature
to 450°. Combine softened cream
cheese, sugar and flour, mixing at me-
dium speed on electric mixer until well
blended. Add eggs, one at a time,
mixing well after each addition. Blend
in vanilla; stir in nuts. Pour mixture
over crust. Bake at 450° for 10 min-

fore removing rim of pan. Chill, Brush
with maple syrup and garnish with
chopped pecans, if desired.
