chairman of the Seminary
Maintenance Campaign of
the Rabbiilical Assembly.

1976 convention of the Rab-
binical Assembly to be held
March 28-April 1 at Gros-
singer's Hotel
Rabbi Mordecai Waxman,
president of the Rabbinical
Assembly, said the conven-
tion will mark the conclu-
sion of its 75th anniversary
celebration. The conclave
will concern itself with in-
depth discussions and evalu-
ations of the role its almost
1,100 rabbis in facing the
problems of Jewry, both in
the United States as well as
Israel.

Rabbi Groner, who was
ordained by the Hebrew
Theological College, also
holds a degree from the
University of Chicago. The
co-chairman of the na-
tional youth commission of
the United Synagogue of
America since 1972, he is
vice president of the Jew-
ish Community Council of
Metropolitan Detroit as
well as chairman of the
Michigan-Ohio Region of
the Rabbinical Assembly.
He also is a member of the
advisory committee of the
national United Jewish
Appeal and the Bnai Brith
Adult Jewish Education
Commission.

Facilities are also available
for tobaggoning, volleyball,
basketball and horse-back
riding.

Students will be given
hypothetical political situ-
arions to act out, to be fol-
lowed by analysis of reac-
tions to each situarion.

ties; and community and
campus projects.
Movies and slides on Is-

several guest speakers are
scheduled. Participants are
invited to bring their own
slides from Israel.
