Hersh for the evening to

ALL THE GUYS in the
Honeywell Barber Salon
were dressed as clowns on -
Halloween . . . but there
certainly was no fooling ar-
ound in still more trophys
captured by the shop . . .
Guy Minnella represented
the Nine Mile and South-
field spot in the Fifth An-
nual Men's Hair Styling
Competition, The Cup Inter-
national, held in Windsor
. . and brought four tro-
phies to the oodles standing
around . . . Guy's overall
total for all entries won the
top one also, a traveling cup
donated by Hiram Walker
. . Previously, in the All-
American, with 325 state
champions from around the
country vying in Chicago,

years back when he did ar-
chitectural and urban re-

Sunday she took the chil-
dren to Sunday school and
met Pam's (age 10) teacher
. . . who -told her the class
was studying Israel, and of
her youngest sister being
born there . . . The teacher
then asked if anyone knew
someone born in Israel . . .
Pam raised her hand and
said, "I wasn't born in Is-

EVERY NIGHT

PARIS (JTA) — Former
resistance fighters and for-
mer deportees throughout
France are energetically
protesting against the Paris
Criminal Court decision not
to prosecute former Ges-
tapo militiaman Paul Tou-
vier for "crimes against
humanity" and for his role
in the deportation and mur-
der of countless Jews and
resistance fighters.
The Paris Criminal Court,
acting as a court of appeal,
declared that Touvier could
no longer be prosecuted for
crimes committed during
the war as they were cov-
ered by the statute of limi-
tations.
Paul Touvier, a French-
man, joined the Gestapo in
the early years of the Nazi
occupation of France and
eventually became -head of
its Lyons branch.
After the war, he was
twice sentenced to death in
absentia by French military
courts but was pardoned by
President Georges Pompi-
dou at the request of the
French Catholic Church.
