Politician: Do Not Stress the Jewish Role in N.Y. Nursing Home Probes

NEW YORK (JTA) —
State Assemblyman An-

of nursing home abuses. He

Israel Tourism
Up in September

NEW YORK — Travel by
U.S. passport holders to Is-
rael increased 23 percent in
September 1975 compared
to September 1974. Israel
Zuriel, commissioner for
tourism for the Israel Minis-
try of Tourism, North
America, said more than
14,000 Americans visited
Israel in that month.
Zuriel noted that the 23
percent increase was nearly
100 percent greater than the
13 percent increase in tour-
ism to Israel that the coun-
try enjoyed from all nations
together.
The Ministry of Tourism
is planning a major adver-
tising campaign in,
of the winter season.
